CPRB aims to protect the public through upholding competency standards to ensure a high standard of practice of Clinical Physiologists working in New Zealand (NZ).

Founded in 2006 as a self regulating registration board, the CPRB consistently promotes the development and enhancement of Clinical Physiology and Physiology Technician roles in the NZ healthcare system.

Board members are elected from the membership of the New Zealand professional societies representing each scope of physiologist practice, and serve 4 year terms on the board.
